How to make your dirt bike a monster for 1/2 the cost! This was my very first YouTube video so I know it kind of sucked and was all unedited. If you love to Moto and love motocross this video can help you with your honda crf or what ever brand your dirt bike is. Riding motocross can be hard enough so hear are some tips I have picked up from the pro factory rigs. → I have spent hundreds of hours trying to peak engine performance on motocross bikes and these simple tricks will help smooth out your engine creating a more smooth throttle response which in turn lets you ride harder and longer in a motocross race or where ever you might be hammering the throttle down. Another key role is to make sure your suspension is dialed in! This is more so more important than getting your engine dialed in! The more comfortable you feel on your bike the faster and more confident you will become! There is a broad view on who makes the best suspension and we all know that motocross is one of the most grueling and physical sports there is. Being in top physical peak is essential and suspension is a critical key in running at the back of the back and running at the front! Ask any professional motocross rider if they had one choice to make a upgrade to any bike and they would all say suspension! If you do not have the money to get your suspension revalved by a suspension company I suggested you first start with the forks. Start by turning the clickers and the way in on the compression and then go ride and see what it feels like with the compression clickers all the way stiff. It will give you a really good idea and to what the compression clickers do. Then after you go ride with them all the way stiff turn the compression clickers all the way soft and go out and ride for a while. After you come back in you will have a pretty good idea in your head as to what the compression clickers do and where you want to start. After you adjust your compression clickers where you think you want the turn the rebound clickers all the way stiff and repeat the process. Then after you have a good idea where you want the rebound adjust them the start on the shock. Your shock will have a high speed compression adjuster. Do this step last and just repeat the process starting with the compression then rebound then finally the high speed compression. After you do all of this it is very critical that you set your sag! Setting your sag is just as important and setting up your suspension! Typical sag setting are usually around 105 to 109. After you have done all this to your motorcycle you are going to be very surprised at how much better your bike feels and how much faster your lap times are compared to what they were. It is also going to give you confidence! With confidence comes talent! If you do have the money to get your suspension revalved I will list a number of suspension companies below. Keep in mind each suspension company revalves differently and has a different feel to it. If you like it on the stiff side go with RaceTech or Procircuit. If you like it on the plush side Factory connection would be the route to go. www.factoryconnection.com/ www.racetech.com/ pro-action.com/ www.rg3suspension.com/ If you like this video check out my other video of me trying to ride motocross with my suspension all the way stiff! https://youtu.be/23gk4sJ-Uuc Thanks for watching.
